# System Requirements

Minimum recommended system requirements for a standard Virtual Contact On-Premises deployment:

* Operating system: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS or later (recommended), Debian 11+
* CPU: 4 cores minimum, 8 cores recommended for production
* RAM: 8 GB minimum, 16 GB recommended for production
* Storage: 50 GB minimum SSD, scalable based on conversation volume and recording retention
* Docker: version 24.0 or later
* Docker Compose: version 2.0 or later

Requirements may vary based on conversation volume, number of agents and activated modules. Contact the Virtual Contact team for a capacity assessment.
