# Managing Your Team

This page provides guidance on organising your team in Virtual Contact for day-to-day operations: assigning conversations, monitoring agent workload, handling shift changes and managing out-of-hours coverage.

Best practices: assign conversations to agents immediately on arrival to avoid inbox clutter, use supervisor view to monitor queue depth in real time, set up out-of-hours workflows before activating channels, and review agent performance weekly using the Analytics dashboard.
